Made my way to Belton Hamfest today. As usual, it never fails to be a productive venture in so many ways, Great place to see old friends and meet so many enthusiastic members of our hobby. Both inside the building and the tailgater section had seller, after seller. Most of the equipment looked in good physical shape. Few junkers as I have seen at other fests. Vendor attendance did appear to be somewhat less than past visits. I guess the economy and maybe an aging population may be a cause. Still, all in all, a super great time was had.
Always Great to visit with friends , meet folks you talk on the phone and radio. Belton looking for spring. The Hamfest Crew does an VERY GREAT JOB!!!!
Did they charge to Tailgate this year ? Was Beer and Smoking allowed ? I missed it this year. In the day it was the best.
