I own and have used on the air Leonessa, Traveler, Sculpture dual lever, and HST II. Each is different from the other but they all suffer from one particular problem. When set to 20 grams tension and the gap that Begali recommends (with the supplied feeler gauge) soon enough a string of dits or dahs will emanate. This usually occurs within the first few minutes of keying. Opening the gap solves the problem, and if you don't want a really tight setting you'll be just fine. I haven't had this problem with any of my Schurr, N3ZN, K8RA, Hamco, Bencher, Kent, or American Morse paddles. YMMV.
Going from key to key at Dayton, I agree with the above post that you almost have to just pick the one you like the looks of, as their lowest cost model is a dream to touch.
