Personally I find that this HT is a pain to program. I use the software I down load from their website. Every time I make a change in the radio settings,memories etc the screen comes back if Chinese, I am programing in English. Very Very annoying. Buyer be ware. 73's DAVE NU4N
Super easy on the front screen to program. Since this radio does not scan well I only have about 10 memories in it. Also if you only want to make a quick change to a memory it is really really easy from the front panel.
