Sarath - VU2RS publicaba con fotos y vídeo a las 04.30z en su cuenta de X la partida del equipo de operadores formado por VU2RS, VE3LYC, VU3DXA, VU3WEW hacia la isla Kanika en una barcaza alquilada a los lugareños.

En las próximas horas empezaremos a escuchar a AU2K en las bandas....

Algunas notas generales, por favor:

1. Tenemos mucho ruido después del anochecer, no de los generadores (probados). Es como Lu del enorme puerto industrial que no está tan lejos...
2. No nos envíes sugerencias de aperturas. Estamos usando el reportero PSK, por lo que tenemos una idea bastante buena de lo que funciona y lo que no.
3. Tuvimos un poco de éxito con NA en 15 m, pero los mejores resultados fueron en 20 y 30 m, con algunos buenos resultados en 17 m, exactamente como esperábamos.
4. Esté en las bandas anteriores en los horarios que operamos anoche. Es posible que algunas estén OK nuevamente y buscaré NA. Los próximos días también operaré FT8 en estas bandas con la esperanza de que más estaciones de NA ingresen en el log.

Como nota al margen, uno de los operadores de EU le preguntó a nuestro operador de SSB por qué la operación CW se llamaba a NA cuando la apertura era buena para Europa. Nos reímos mucho, hi.
Hay un viento que sopla prácticamente de manera continua desde el N-NNW. Nunca había visto tanta arena traída por el viento en la tienda, hi.

Some general notes please:

1. 
   
   
   • We get a lot of noise after dark, not from the (tested) generators. It's like Lu from the huge industrial port not that far away...
   • Please don't send us any opening suggestions. We're using PSK reporter so we have a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn't.
   • We had some success with NA on 15m, but the best results were on 20 and 30m, with some good results on 17m, exactly as we expected.
   • Please be on the above bands at the times we operated last night. Some may be OK again and I'll be looking for NA. The next few days I'll also be operating FT8 on these bands in the hopes of more NA stations entering the log.

As a side note, one of the US operators asked our SSB operator why CW operation was called NA when the opening was good for Europe. We had a good laugh, hi.

There is a wind blowing practically continuously from the N-NNW. I have never seen so much wind-blown sand in the tent, hi.

¡Condiciones difíciles! Mucho ruido desde el puerto después de las 12:30 z de ayer. ¡Es un desafío, pero estamos perseverando! Esperamos trabajar con tantas estaciones como sea posible a pesar del QRM.

Tough conditions! Lots of noise from the port after 12:30z yesterday. It's a challenge, but we're persevering! We hope to work with as many stations as possible despite the QRM.
