FOR SALE: An Atwater Kent Model 10 (#4340) breadboard-style broadcast radio from the mid-1920s in very good condition. I had this radio working with 5 good '01-type tubes in place. Three of the tipped tubes shown are good; I filled out the tube complement for testing using a couple of newer 301As. Filaments in these old tubes are fragile, however, and I cannot guarantee that they won't be DOA after shipping, but I can pack and send those separately. Pretty sure this came from an estate sale, and, once the bad tubes were replaced and power applied from an ARBE III, this set came right to life!

    Asking $750, plus shipping.

Please contact me directly via e-mail to ww1me (at) arrl (dot) net with questions or if you are interested. These are becoming few and far between, and I hate to sell this one, except I really have no good place to display it now.

Set is being sold as is, no warranty expressed or implied. I accept (and prefer) PayPal. Cleared personal check or USPS money order are okay too.

    I have additional photos.

    Thanks for looking!
