Hi, myself and members of our Brooklyn club (RSRCI) are planning a trip to the Greenwood cemetary in Brooklyn, to the burial site of Samuel Morse. It will take place Saturday, Aug 25. Of course, if you are a local, you can go there anytime and you don't need anyone's invitation. But this visit will coincide with an International CW Hamfest, being held in Russia on the same date. We plan to have a teleconference of sorts, via Skype and will lay flowers and exchange visual greetings with the hams on the other side of the globe. We are not commemorating any 'round number' anniversary, just paying our respects to the Morse code inventor. If interested and want to participate - please email me. 73, Ed/NT2X
