I resently bought a Yeasu FT-857 and the ATAS- 100 antenna, and was bewildered that i could not find a mount for a pick-up truck. I finaly found one at but it was $70, a lot more than I wanted to spend. After finding out that a regular 3/4" mount with a so-239 converter wouldn't work I gave serious consideration to geotool. But I desided to give it one more shot. I took a SO barrel connector and the stake bed mount that I already had, drilled out the hole to 3/4" , bought some 3/4" washers and I had a sturdy well grounded mount for my antenna total cost about $6 [IMG]
