If I needed an extra $20.00 in my pocket every month I would find a less expensive hobby, if one exists.

Well, Incentive Licensing didn’t work, but maybe Incentive Subscribing will:

    Novice/Technician: $69.00 per year.
    General/Advanced: $49.00 per year.
    Amateur Extra: $25.00 per year.

    What’s not to like?

And a lot more. With CQ and ER, all you get is a magazine.

The Sherwood numbers are interesting, but they don't begin to approach the full reviews by ARRL.

    Well, which one is it?

You've made your views on League membership clear in your posts in the (far TOO MANY) previous threads on the subject to which my previous post alluded.
No point in responding to this one. ;)

    Again, like what?
Those are hardly full reviews. How can you review a K3S in three or four pages? You can't. The only consistently useful part of the reviews is the lab results. And I can get the receiver values from Mr. Sherwood for free.

    Then why did you? ;)

And if you are going to complain about me contributing on-topic to a thread, then you also need to stop contributing to the same thread. Fair is far, my friend. :D

It seems you like the ARRL well enough to use the free LOTW service. Just how much has that saved you in QSL cost?

Awards, for example. And as @N6PAT points out, the LoTW system.

As I have already stated, the expanded review on the website goes into much more detail. And the Sherwood numbers are not as extensive as those from ARRL.

The irony is that my station is 100% homebrew, so the Product Reviews mean very little to me personally.

I think a digital-only option is a good idea. But I suspect that the price differential would not be that great.
