Are solar panels susceptible to strong RF?

    That's what raincoats are for , or a swim suit ;)
    I've been under the impression for a long time , that you only putup antennas in bad weather

    NO.
    Solar panels will not be harmed by amateur legal RF exposure.
    My 75 meter inverted V antenna runs parallel to the lower edge of 5000 watt PV array, and the wire antenna ends 7 feet from PV panel.
    I regularly run 1500watts, simultaneous with the array pushing 4800 watts , no problems in either direction.

    RUNNING TWO 100W RENOGY PANELS AND SUPPLIED CONTROLLER NEXT TO MY HF VERT AND RUNNING 100W
    NO ISSUES WITH INTERFERRENCE OR ANYTHING ELSE.
