    Sorry - never noticed that ! (I only saw the videos he posted with the lid on, to show the arcing)

    And I agree - those look like Cetron 572Bs. (as fitted originally in these Amps by Yaesu)

    Yes, I switched to some other tubes I knew worked to eliminate that as a possibility
