Wayne Woollard plans to fly from Alaska to Florida to gain the transcontinental record for his aircraft weight class. The flight will be from Barrow Alaska to Key West Florida on May 23. He should arrive around the 28th of May. From there He will leave Kitty Hawk, North Carolina on May 30th and arrive back in Salinas California on the 2nd of June.

The onboard APRS tracker consists of a MAXON 5-watt data radio transmitting on the standard 144.39 MHz frequency with an external VHF antenna mounted under the fuselage. A KPC-3 TNC and a Rand McNalley GPS.
