AnyTone D878UV vs. D868UV Comparison

ok, "old" radio .... the 868 v.2 the latest FW is the 2.36 , shure is a version 2 ?

Actually 868 firmware was up to 2.39 as of last year-

correct, I ordered it from Amazon and it said it was the version 2.. so I wasnt sure what was the differences. I know theres the 878 out now but I didnt see that until I had already purchased this one. I also have a hotspot mmdvm deliverred today and a nagoya 701 antenna.

 

Diving into my local Anytone archives I clipped the following from one of the earlier updates. At the hardware level the jump was only 1.0 to 1.1, but for better separation the firmware went from 1.27 to 2.27 respectively. I remembered wrongly the hardware jump but was not to far off track.

PS note that Anytone NOT call in the 868 V2 but the V 1.1 ....

V.2 is only for the NEW version HW of the 878 !
