Stores may have different prices at hamfests. That's possible. I'll see if that happens at the Yuma Hamfest later this week, since HRO will be there. Another reason to steer clear of these reservations - they may come with conditions like they provide a chance to purchase at the normal price, instead of with any discounts that may come up like hamfest/convention sales etc.

Now we're talking.... still waiting for my 2018 bonus.... Already decided on buying the M2 Leo Pack when it shows up, might have to sneak in the 9700, too. :)

Just wondering, what are you steering the LEO pack with?

And, would you add a 23cm yagi? M2 makes nice ones...

(I'm envious! Hope you pull the trigger on this!)

I bought a used G5400B and fox-delta controller. If I end up with a 9700, there certainly is no excuse to not get on L band, too.

Universal Radio has dropped the price of the IC-9700 on its web site. It's now listed at $1999.95.

Not as good as the R&L price, but they are breaking from the initial $2099.95 price.
