Truly one of the more obscure ham radio "separates" brand - made in Japan with an unabashedly Japanese stylized logo, and advertised in the mid 1960s.... the Interstar "Star-Line" featuring the SR-700E receiver (advertised as 10-75 which is telling, in that while the radio does CW mode, they were making it clear it was a "modern SSB" rig!)

In all my years wandering ham fests and such, I've never seen this rig in person.

Curious if there are any current or past owners of the Star Line gear?

Hi Dave..nope never actually saw one..just an ad like you posted..however Bama lists an SR700/ST700 under the Star name in manuals..?..
I did not open it(DJVU file)but this cud be the info on these if you wanted to check..or a BIG coincidence on the model numbers..?
I'd be interested in what they used for finals in the transmitter..73 de DAVE WB1EAD
