Please, please, please, put your questions about antennas, towers, rotors, tuners, etc., in the ANTENNA forum.

EVERY DAY there are several questions in the Q&A forum about subjects that definitely concern antennas and the like. These threads then have to be moved to the Antenna forum.

Remember, many participants wanted more specific forums so that they could find information on specific subjects more easily. As such, more specific forums were established. However, WAY too many people are not reading the "sticky" threads and are just posting a new thread "where ever"!

Questions about microphones, speakers, etc., go in the Audio forum.

Questions or statements about actual modifications to equipment go in the modification forum. BUT, questions about problems and repair of equipment do go here in the Q&A forum.

Please, take a minute and THINK before starting a new thread to see if that thread is appropriate for the forum selected.

Ah! That explains why some interesting threads have vanished!

My computer is set up so that I can come straight to the three core (for me) areas, Q&A, Talk and Ragchew. I had not realised that so many specialised Fora had appeared, or that segregation was being enforced with such enthusiasm. I have to say that I prefer the "old" Q&A, where I could run my eye down a list of threads and quickly pick out any that looked interesting, since now I have to do the same thing with several fora that are not in my drop-down menus and will not be since they will create too much congestion.

Not all changes are for the better, but its your game.
