I am looking for a switch that will accept 6 lines. My goal is to not have so many wires in the shack itself. I have plenty of room in the attic to place the remote box then route the one "control" connection down to the desk.
Once I decide on which one to get, will there be a problem placing the remote box between my entry panel with the arrestors and the control box on the desk?? I don't think I would have to buy one with the internal lightening protection then and it would make the desk top area a lot cleaner.
Main question here is...which one to get so I am looking for suggestions /experiences.
Thanks info all of the help you all provide. Nice having so many "Elmers".

you should consider looking into a wifi remote antenna switch.
I have been using one for a few years now.
just 2 wires: main coax going out to the tower and another wire for 24vac power
They can be built fairly cheaply if you can roll your own
Commercial ones vary from 4 positions to units that gang together
Mine is 105' from the shack , can do 6 antennas or 5 with 2 positions spare say for rotor control

Prior to this I had a relay box out there with 5 relays with a control wire that switched them from the shack
Either way put everything inside a metal case
