Both 2014 (my wife's and mine) have Maxrad 6-M and 2-M/450-mHz magnetic mount antennas near the rear corners of the respective roofs. Neither of us has had any problems with any of them, and they work great (no ignition noise and few "birdies"). My wife feeds her antennas with a Yaesu FT-8900R and I use an ICOM IC-7100 for VHF/UHF... not sure yet what I will do if I want to do HF bands.

The lip mounts do not work well at all on the WK2's (Grand Cherokee)... not sure how (or if) they would work on the Cherokee.
