    Over the Christmas break, I have been working on a tool to analyse your antenna performances. The tool is based on WSPR reports. It is easy to use. You transmit at low power (500 mW or lower) for a few hours or days to gather enough data, then enter your call sign and band at https://wspr.bsdworld.org/, and read the report.

    I developed that tool because I built a skyloop antenna and wanted to get a sense of how it was working. The tool is still in development, and you are welcome to email me if you find a bug or experience a problem.

    I hope some of you will find that tool helpful, and it will help you optimize your antennas.

    I think you are really on to something great here! I have not been on the air at all the last few days but plugged in the last band data WSPR and your 'app' produced a big red flag: BAND.

    A lot of WSPR response is dependent on who is awake/equipment is on as well as antenna efficiency and propagation. However, it can seem obvious what band is working best by the WSPR results. This scheme seems genius to actually measure and graph results. I am eager to play with this! Can't wait quietly for thunderstorms to abate!

    Fred, how would I reduce a standard radio to half watt or less? Attenuation by antenna, dummy load or purpose built WSPR radio, or other?
