Well....4X02T is working away on 7134 KHz. Its the Holy Land contest and his exchange is similar to that of what would be a rare DX callsign. Unfortunately, folks heard that exchange and posted it on the Packet spotting network as the rare DX callsign. So now, there is a ridiculous pileup of people thinking they're working some rare DX station when its simply a guy in Israel...

Should be interesting when the look up the rare DX stations QSL information and find its a non-existent call.

    Listen, listen, listen....

    No problem, I say.

Just means there's a horde of folks not tuning for DX a bit down/up band.

Personally, I love it when there's a huge pileup for one I don't need.

My logging program show who they are on the cluster spots for those. Long live the Spotting Networks tools of the winners as are the very best loggers money can buy most important tool in finding openings along with WSPR. Let them do half the work for you while you check the bands and use a spectrum analyzer also while twisting the dial even a blind hog gets an acorn once in a while LOL.

So many of those fools never look up the call first lots of bogus spots wrong calls depend on your logger and QRZ. If it's to good to be true it probably is on the really rare. Some misposted a N. Korea call the other day and even I was surprised at how many were calling.

Not me I'm antenna and tower poor as it is. But I still would like 4 160' towers in a 4 sq array though.
