We are excited to announce our Saturday evening and Sunday morning banquet speakers:

Krishna Kanakasapapathi W4VKU will give a fascinating presentation on his recent activation of the Andaman Islands as VU4A on Saturday evening of the Convention. Krish has made several VU4/VU7 activations over the years and in 2024 he was able to overcome the high noise issues that had been his nemesis on previous activations. Krish is a technologist from Cary, NC and is coming to IDXC 2025 to share his amazing stories.

On Sunday morning, George Wallner AA7JV will present "Pacific DX Saga - Getting Ready for Jarvis, N5J"

George Wallner, AA7JV spent 18 months sailing the Pacific on the Magnet culminating in the activation of Jarvis Island, a top-twenty needed DXCC KH5, late summer 2024. At the breakfast banquet at IDXC 2025, George will recount the efforts to develop reliable satellite-based internet connectivity, rapid deployment of Radio-in-a-Box (RIB) radio systems, and operating environments for blended local and remote, high-performance DXpedition teams that created tremendous excitement in the DX community. His successes will lead the way to future operations on environmentally protected islands that have been out of the reach for traditional DXpedition methods.

In the coming weeks we will be announcing:

    1) Roster of speakers for Friday and Saturday programs.

    2) Major Prizes. Get those Raffle tickets!

    3) Hourly Prizes.

    4) Optional DX Academy on Friday morning (8am to 12 noon)

    5) Optional Contest Academy on Friday afternoon (1-5PM)

    6) Next Generation DXing: This is a new Friday program encompassing the latest techniques and methods to work and log the DX.

    7) Exhibitors displaying their latest products.

This is just a partial list of the features & benefits of attending IDXC 2025.

I attemded many IDXC meetings when I live in California and enjoyed them all. Why can't they alternate coasts and hold one in conjuction with the Orlando Hamcation?

    ...but 'Visalia' is the best:)

Unfortunately I have stopped all my solo recreational travel because of risks to Jews, and also COVID, which again is emerging in a 5th cycle..

I will not set foot on any college campus for the same first reason.

I understand others are not so inhibited and I appreciate that and wish you all well:)
