    After completing a new plate supply and filament supply from vintage parts (old but not 1921 vintage) and adding some nice additional features like a vacuum keying relay and plate and grid meters, volunteers at the Antique Wireless Museum powered up the 1BCG transmitter replica that was built for the 1996 75th anniversary of the 1921 transatlantic tests. It came up just fine and will be ready to put out a strapping good signal for the 100th anniversary of the transatlantic tests this December. With a type 204A oscillator tube and one of the 3 possible 204A power amplifier tubes, it output 200 watts into a dummy load on 160 meters, with a pretty nice note as heard in this video:
