Wow, where did they put the extra capacitors?
The GI7B took the place of the 4 x 6MJ6 tubes.
And the three old larger electrolytic caps were replaced by 6 x modern more compact capacitors.
Sounds like a nice job!
You should post some pictures of that (really just "inside" as a suggestion for others how to make it all fit) as the base AL-84 amps are very plentiful and a lot of them are just sitting doing nothing due to the high cost of replacement tubes.
It did not do the work, but I admire the clever way it was done.
I sold off this amp and got myself a LK500ZC.
