    Sent to me by a friend of mine Simon, an ham from VK6

    This is a NASA picture showing one of the current sun spots.

    This is Simons picture taken though his own telescope showing the same sun spot. Pretty cool what a home gamer can do from his backyard in the suburbs.

    When I saw the thread title, I thought you discovered a ham who was manufacturing artificial sunspots to enhance propagation.

    Caught this image yesterday from NASSA whilst checking what 2776 was upto Screenshot (170).png , not on a par with the guys own but still pretty cool.

    Some of the amateur guys can take images almost on par with the best the professionals can. I am often amazed at what they can achieve with rather simple and cheap gear.
