Amateur Radio & Space Communication Gallery at Science Expo Rajkot – Gujarat (India)

When I tell you that the new generation in Germany is really different in this, it will explain a bit. When you know that the hobby here got a loss of operators by around 1000 people each year, you see the problem. At the moment the loss stucks but isnt away. Only 60K operators left until today.

The most problem is, that big equipment or antennas arent welcome anymore. Internet became unbeatable a big thing, and the next generation will not look left or right. Many of them often dont know today the simplest things in radio matters. To this the intrest in this is weak, too.
And many poeple got an app for anything. Sad to say that they are often driven away from reality.

Radio is a stream out of a wire and not in the air. Further to own a thing like CD, LP or MC became useless for many. Here you will find playlists of streaming providers.

For me this all went wrong and needs a turnaroud as fast as possibel. I am not against the Internet. Its the dose that kills.

Thanks a ton Sanjaybhai for always supporting my activities. I always enjoy educating & sharing our knowledge with the curious students. This time done everything with lots of practicals and exhibiting lots of radio stuff which created a buzz in the expo! All age of visitors love to know about Space, and if we engaged them talking about biggest artificial satellite ISS and life of astronaut in it, that simply fascinates all. I extend my story with some ARISS events with audio/video footage which again attract students a lot!
Some how all such genuine approach of mine works.
Btw your Radio shack is just amazing.
I am still awaiting for your Rajkot India visits, please do plan this year.
