The 1964 5c is a common US one.
This one? Cool!
Yep, that's the one! I have a 4 stamp numbered "plate block "AND a "first day over."
I have the plate block and maybe the first day cover as well. Been a long time.
One of my favorites:
A subset of a subset of a hobby. Excellent! Are there more? Thank you
How about a ham radio stamp with some genuine modern technology depicted?
Sure nostalgia is cool and all
but we're supposed to be a technology development hobby.
I wish there was a series of technology stamps showing where ham radio is going, not where it WAS a hundred years ago.
Pushing the antique aspect of this hobby to the yonger generations is like trying to sell Victorian era furniture to a millennial who just built their first home.
That's a good one too, but not specifically about AMATEUR radio...
When did a younger person care about stamps? I've never heard "I'm into STAMP".
The USPS currently has a nice set of 'Innovation' stamps although not amateur radio related. The lettering on these is kinda 'chromy' and very unique.
