If you participated in the AM Rally last year, and used the AM Rally logging software, you are likely to have log entries from last year still in your log.

    Here's how:

    1) Bring up the AM Rally logger
    2) Go to the File menu
    3) Select "Remove all log entries..."

Answer yes when prompted to actually remove the entries.

    That's it!

All logs uploaded from 2017 are backed up on the server.

"See" you at the event starting Friday 2-Feb at 7:00PM Eastern Time !

Back up your data regularly if you use it. K3FEF lost some electronic entries but fortunately Tanya had paper backups.

that was some anomaly with the particular computer. The logger writes the file EACH time a change is made in the log of any kind.

However, it is always a good idea to upload periodically as a fail safe.

Did Mike tell you this? He's a expert IT guy.

Yeah, we talked about the nature of his power failure. It must have occurred exactly when the file was being written to his SSD. There isn't any other way the file could have become corrupted or missing. That is the conclusion that we arrived at. The file is written each time a change is made, and 2 backup copies are also made. As a database engine developer, this is very important :)
