Maybe I'm asking too much but

I've got a Kenwood TK-5720 P25 Mobile in my vehicle that I use for my primary public safety and also 2M VHF, however, I've purchased a FT-7900R Dual Band that I intend on just swapping out since its my Kenwood is mounted in a case with quick change in less then 5 minutes tops.

I'm wanting to do this so I can have the freedom of not having to program frequencies by computer into a radio when I go on trips like to hamfests and stuff.

Also, on the same principal, I have an NMO Mount that is drilled into the roof so switching antennas are a breeze just unscrew then rescrew back on.

Here is the antenna I'm considering:

Will this also do 2M and 70CM Ham? Even though it says 150/450.

I'm going to guess it would not work very well, but maybe someone would know for sure. If the antenna is resonate at 155MHz and 460MHz it is not going to be very good where you would like to use it.

    Works 150-160 & 450-470 MHz in ONE ANTENNA !!

    So in a word nope.

Personally, I would stick to actual ham radio dealers for ham radio stuff.
Places like Ham Radio Outlet, or Amateur Electronics Supply to name just a few.
You'll probably find a wider selection at them.
