For the CW operator. This resonant speaker is razor sharp at 500 Hz. Excellent addition to low cost homebrew receivers like the Herring Aid. But also can add a lot of enjoyment to high end receivers too. I'll have 5 of these available at Dayton, check out the W5YI booth, for introductory price of $25. Made entirely in North Pole, Alaska.

Can they be tuned to different frequency? Say, 750Hz?

This version won't be, but we're also developing a deluxe tunable version. Stay tuned!

I will! Been wanting to try one of those for years, too lazy to homebrew anymore.

I hope this project went well for Eric, I didn't even see the post until today.

    That is a great idea.

Reminds me of a speaker my dad had for a transistor radio -- at least 50 years old. Made voices stand out.

Actually, this speaker totally sucks for voice! But it's sweet on CW. We've just overcome a snag with the label printing supplier, and full production should begin this weekend. I have some excellent child labor rounded up.
