This flight takes us from Tacoma Narrows Airport (KTIW) to Felts Field (KSFF) in Spokane, Washington to attend the AOPA Fly-In. During the flight we encountered smoke, which we were able to avoid for most of the flight at 9,500 feet until about 80 miles out of Spokane where we flew right into a higher smoke layer. We conducted 2-meter FM radio contacts during the first half of the flight.
