Try using the full size vs thumbnail. If its animated, thumbnail won't let it run.
Reminds me of the Blue Man above!
Way on the left is Carl Schultz. Hands cupped to ears, Steve Pottyandy (don't recall their calls)
Far right “Sandy” Wirth, W9BTN, and “Bud” Koeppel, @W9HIF (SK) (now a vanity call in his honor).
I don't see any face masks, let alone compliance to social distancing mandates...
Oh, wait! Zombie thread. Post pre-dates COVID-1984 plandemic. Never mind.
It may be a zombie thread, but I do enjoy seeing the old photos. I recall the catalog used to have photos of the various reps and technicians, if I am remembering correctly there were even some photos of the techs at their work benches in the catalog. I used to love going through the catalog, dreaming about all the gear I would have, picturing this huge ham-shack with wall to wall gear.
Oh well, somehow, some way, people need to work for economic survival. Even Politicians for that matter who will promise you everything and deliver NOTHING!!
Bad scene, Man!!!
I prefer the motto for politicians: "Promise them everything, but give them the SH*FT." Sad, but usually true. Campaign "promises" are usually lies just to get a politician elected, and usually not realistic, even if well intended.
I remember AES, and often bought equipment from them. They were reliable, honest, and usually had the lowest prices; certainly lower than "MSRP." I was sorry to see them go.
It is said and done out of political expediency.....
