Playing text adventure games over ham radio? Fast? no. Fun? Yes! While this is probably the least practical use of amateur radio, it demonstrate we can run any "command line" software over RF -- potentially spanning thousands of miles. Radio networks are more relevant than ever when bridged with Internet technologies. Zork could just as easily be a text-based web browser, IRC chat client, or email interface. Big thanks to Richard Osgood for the zork-howto: https://www.richardosgood.com/posts/h... DigiPi (digipi.org, thanks Patrons) already have Zork and Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy pre-installed on their DigiPi BBS. The DigiPi BBS in depicted in this video is running in Northern California, node KM6LYW-4 on 145.050Mhz via KJOHN, KBERR, KBANN. Let's play!
Yah, that's odd, trying again, https://www.richardosgood.com/posts/how-to-setup-a-raspberry-pi-packet-radio-node-with-zork/
