I know ADIF Master is a pretty basic program, but apparently there are some features (templates) for example that I don't know how to use. I can't find any help file or documentation. My goal is to import ADIFs from a QRPWorks SideKar device and modify them to be POTA compliant. So some fields need to be added, and many need to be removed. In some cases I need to transfer contacts from a paper log to the software. Wondering if that can be automated to some extent using ADIF Master's interface. I'm hoping there is a POTA template to speed things up. In any event, if you're familiar with this software and can share your workflow, it would be greatly appreciated!
I don't know of one. Its easy to add fields or contacts manually. Just 'Insert Column" for additional fields. Name them via ADIF Protocol. You can right-click at the top of the column to access the naming. Making space for additional contacts is simple "Insert Row". It works as expected. Maybe someone has a complete log already set up that you can import. ADIF should import it with no ado. Do you have any friends in the POTA who are doing logs? Just import theirs.
Just looked at POTA rules... Q: Which fields are mandatory in POTA logs? A: Date, Time, Band, Mode, and Callsign. We do exchange real signal reports, but it’s not mandatory to log those, or anything else.
