    By the way, ask for Steven Harrison. Also ask to have the stand sent USPS to save on postage. Mine was $33.00 shipped for two stands. No screws are supplied.

    I don't have an 870 but do have an 850 and the same idea should work.

    These things are called bales, or at least used to be.

    I’ve seen them called a half a dozen things. That’s why it took so long to Google this company’s product which they call “tilt stands”.

    One of the best hamfest finds I ever had was a bale (bail?) which I bought for I think 50 cents. I used it on my BitX20a which I built into a CB enclosure. At another hamfest I found some folding cabinet handles of which I bought two and used one on another QRP radio. I still have the other one but wish I would have bought more than just two. But nice to find another source for these should I need more.
