Which Rhode Island POTA parks do you still need? A bunch of us here in Rhode Island are teaming up for Activate All RI, with the goal of putting all 61 of our Parks on the Air references on the air over one weekend, September 11–13. Think of it as a POTA take on a state QSO party: get a bunch of operators out in the parks and give everyone else a weekend of Rhode Island contacts to chase. Trying to activate every park in a state over one weekend is one of those things we can actually tackle because we’re so tiny. Might as well put that to good use! We get started at 0000 UTC Friday, September 11—that’s Thursday, September 10, at 8 p.m. Eastern—and continue through the weekend. We’d love to have you hunting us, whether you’re working toward Worked All RI, looking for your first Rhode Island park, or just seeing how many you can catch. Hunt from home, or join us park-to-park during your own activation. Find the parks you need The event website has our activation schedule and live RI POTA spots: https://ripota.org/activate-ri-2026/ We’ve also built a personalized hunter tool. Import your POTA hunted-parks history, see which RI parks you’re missing, and view or print an activation schedule for just those parks: https://ripota.org/activate-ri-2026/hunter/ You don’t need to use the tool to join in—just find us on the air and give us a call. We’ve been getting the parks and operators lined up. Now we need people on the other end of our calls!
