I joined the Antique Wireless Association in the 1990s after a friend and I visited the old AWA Museum in the Academy Building in Bloomfield. It must have been a slow day because after demonstrating the 1KW spark transmitter, the volunteer who was tending the museum (I wish I could remember who it was!) took us over the the Annex building, where there was a group playing with James Millen's personal transmitter.
