    Thank you, great ideas, especially the suction cup mounts. I recently made a trip around the southeastern U.S. and found a few minor holes in the APRS system. There were many more holes in my cell phone and internet connection system.

    Round here cellphones are far better than APRS. However, for a ham, APRS is more fun!

    One of the reasons I put together a APRS station at my home was that my local area had been a spot with no coverage. Now I see on average about 25 different stations each month, some of them almost every day and others just when they pass by on I-4 or I-95.
