    I won't forget, which is why I'd rather not be reminded. No, I'm not criticising the OP. I didn't follow the link.

    I almost lost my cool the other night in a restaurant. There was an obnoxious couple, the stereotypical kind that talk loud enough that the whole restaurant can hear.

    They were discussing how "brilliant" they thought the attacks were.

    Then there must have been divine intervention. Seconds before I got up and made a scene, they unexpectedly got up and left.

    or as my mom says, "those of us who DO remember history are condemned to suffer those that don't"

    I am pretty sure there will never be another incident like 9/11, not because of the TSA's efforts, but because of locking the cockpit doors. Which was suggested in the 1960s. And bring their own risks as we saw earlier this year.
