630 Meter transmitter only kit?

    Well, hopefully no one was hurt !!

    I've also used the Hafler P3000 for about 400W TOP on 2200m - gives me about 400mW from the antenna (calculated), but that's a lot of power on that band !

    Hello Joe - sorry for the delay in reply.

    And yes, the low drive from the 7300 into the HF-1k (built for 50W drive) is why I was only getting 4W into the antenna. I have built an external 4W amp to use to drive the HF-1k for this Winter when the band conditions are better. I am not sure what that will produce as I have not test it yet, but that should put a few more watts into the antenna.
