6 Meter Historic DX!!!

W4AWI writes "CQ CQ CQ 6 meter DX! Yesterday morning, and this morning, and hopefully tommorow morning, half the World is open on SIX meters! From Miami Florida, myself W4AWI and others like K4SUS (Mr. magic Band) and K2RTH worked dozens of stations in Europe, Middle East and Mid to North Africa.


I'm told by K4SUS that this has NEVER been this good. Signals were 5x5 to 5x9++. Me and others even reached Siberia and the Ukraine! An extra incredible thing was yesterdays opening also brought in a couple of LUs (Argentina) while the big opening eastward was going on. I worked Italian IK5ZAI on PSK31 even. If you have just 100 watts and a few elements you can do it too."

Addendum: Openings are/were local 7 AM to around 11 AM October 30 and 31. aprox 1200z to 1600z 73
