    Here in Oregon and at my AZ QTH it certainly is a shift towards hams becoming FT8 users whereas in years past they were prior FM users.

    At both locations hams who used to frequent my 6 and 10 meter remotes and our high mountain linked Arizona 6 meter repeater are now spending their time on 50.313 and 28.074.

    In the day, You could tell if 6 meters was open when your TV started receiving many stations on Channel 2.

    I think Channel 2 was also the channel to watch for near by Tornadoes, Or channel 3 if 2 was in use. The noise pattern would change.
