The land-mobile "T-band" is active in large metropolitan areas, such as New York City area.

A decade ago, as FCC was assigning UHF frequencies for the analog (NTSC) to digital (ATSC) conversion, many analog UHF television stations in the "T" Band (channels 14-20) were reassigned above channel 20.
In Central IL, that involved TV stations on almost every channel in that spectrum: 14, 15, 17, 19, and 20.

The recent interest (and big $$) in another 100 MHz of the UHF TV channels (600 MHz - 700 MHz),

may cause the FCC to reconsider further land-mobile usage of the "T-band".
