    On second thought, all this vanity call activity might not be an altogether bad thing...

    After all, the more churn there is in 2x1 and 1x2 calls, the more "data" is generated at FCC along the lines of "there sure is a lot of activity among the Extra class licensees..." :)

    There is no FAQ but feel free to prove me wrong.
    I did see this, "Offlined by FCC: The application has been taken offline for FCC manual review" Why are applications taken offlined?

    Well, that one is only available to folks in Alaska, and there are plenty of other 2x1 calls that are available. KL1D will probably be one the last ones taken.

    Well, there is a guy in Fl, that used to have a vanity with the last 3 of "SOB".

    He should have kept it because it fit so well.
