40 to 10 antenna - design needed

    Luis, thanks for the helpful picture. I envy your access to that roof top; it really does beg for a loop antenna (which will be far better than nothing).

    Yes, 80-10 meters if fed with balanced line to an antenna tuner in the radio shack. You could even operate it as a half-wave on 160 meters, if you like, by opening the loop half-way around (opposite the feed point) as mentioned before by Cecil. How about a picture later, once you get it built? 73

    Hello Gary,

    How was X-mas?

    Its a promise: I will take some photos and post them somewhere :)

    I am also thinking that I can make the loop work on 160M: half wave is around 80M length of wire meaning that if my loop is a square each side will have only 20M length, and this I can do, I guess...

    Its very windy and rainy now, and I am still waiting for my MFJ antenna analyzer to arrive from US :eek: so I will sure do it when the Spring breaks...
