I heard you guys last night. It was awesome! Seriously, this thing is likely one of the best tools for creating new ham users. Imagine talking to Santa through this mysterious "old-time" radio your grandpa has. I bet a lot of these kids will be hooked! Keep up the good work.
Oh, and KE5GGY has a great voice. You would swear you are listening to Casey Kasem giving a long distance dedication!
I enjoyed listening and next year plan to have my nieces and nephews talk to "Santa Claus" I found the Santa net very magical and enchanting as I myself am a new Ham! I myself felt like a kid again. My grandkids got to talk to Santa via SantaNet this year and even though they are 6 and 9 (that age where believing in Santa is starting to wane) they were almost too excited to speak. I never thought I'd see my 9 year old granddaughter be at a loss for words, but she was! Pete is a saint and I loved it. Even listening to other hams and their kids/grandkids made me start believing in Santa again myself. Thanks to all the folks that started and continue to run this endeavor. It really added more magic to an already magical season.
