Got a new T368 mod transformer and got the 4-125 rig back on the air.
A pair modulated by a pair in AB1.
The modulator is out of an old QST design from March 1948.
Anything with a magic eye tube is cool in my book!

    Sounds great to me.
I need to change the circuit a bit as my bias voltage is low.
It runs great at 2000 volts and 350 to 400 watts out but should be run at 2500 volts, or maybe 2250.

The T368 mod transformer should hold up as its oil filled and designed to run at 2500 volts.

Made a bunch of old buzzard transmissions today and the mod iron held up fine.

The rig runs around 350 to 400 watts carrier, its limited by the mod iron mostly.
If I ran a KW carrier out I doubt I would get much for the effort....
