As a new ham I am interested in constructing my own antennas. I have the designs for yagis that I am in the process of getting started. These will be fine for use at home or whilst at a location where I will have the caravan set up for a few days.

What I am looking for is a design for a dipole that can be used for mobile work. I had heard of one that used telescopic stereo aerials at either end. If anyone has any suggestions or links to designs for this type of antenna I would very much appreciate it.

Many thanks in advance for your help with this.
