    I went to a stereo shop, provided them with coax and wire, which they professionally ran into the cab and under the passenger seat via factory ducts and harness wiring. Best $50 I ever spent.

    I had a 1993 Ranger 4x4 v6 extra cab. great little truck.

    I bought a JC Whitney shelf that above the winshield

    I ran a TS-50 and IC706Mkiig. the truck was fine on VHF/UHF, but was an HF RFI monster

    I got some braid and bonded the bed, tailpipe to the frame, and it was good to go.

    ranger has a wide space on it, so you can put the radio in any spot you like..
