A visit to Fair Radio - misc photos https://photos.app.goo.gl/evEz4y7bGwsjCw7Z8 Hamfest photos - mainly vintage equipment in the flea market https://photos.app.goo.gl/JcQw86War4py9XkH6 I had fun - seems like lots of other folks did as well. Cheers, Nick K4NYW
Great Pics. I think I recognized Jeff, K3DUA, a hamfest regular vendor in this area with his camo hat and green shirt next to his van. More than a few of the Clegg Interceptor/Zeus combos. If you can name most of the old ham gear or recall when they were new, you have been around for more than a few years.
Does anybody else cringe when they see how some of these guys stack junk on nice equipment. I used to wonder how some of this stuff gets so beat up and now I know.
I figgered there would be more than enough Hamvention photos here, so I thought I'd katach a bunch of Wright Patterson photos. We actually had time to do the Air Force museum RIGHT this time.
Wright Patterson is a great side trip. One year, we went out a day early and did the museum, it was worth it.
