    Hi all

I have created a Most Wanted DXCC survey at my website. The URL is http://dxsurvey.vk6hz.com

I have 2 reasons for the survey.

    1. I would like to compare global needs for DXCC against VK needs
    2. A statistics assignment for a course I am doing! What better survey to get a decent cross section of the community than a DXCC wanted survey???

The poll is open until March 1st and results will be published on www.vk6hz.com and other DX websites, along with an article for AR magazine here in VK.

Please ask your friends from the DX community to join in!

    Thanks in advance.

N4AA does a survey and compiles it by area too.

I'd like to work a DXpedition on the North and South Poles.
I mean they already spend $100,000+ to go to an island 10 inches off Puerto Rico. Why not an expedition to the poles?

The south pole would count for Antarctica and you don't hardly need to go all the way to the pole for that. It is also 800 miles from the nearest sea...have a nice walk! There is a manned station there so there will be someone to help thaw you out! Antarctica is fairly active on the ham bands, not hardly rare.
The north pole is constantly shifting sea ice, impractical to get to, no land, no dxcc entity. Good for nothing other than the novelty of it.

    So you get a D in geography...:p

The whole DXCC concept is for novelty. Whatchu talkin' about Willis?
Plus under that logic all of Europe should be a single entity.

That (P5) is the only one I need. All others worked/confirmed. P5 may not show again in my lifetime.

Wow, I have less than 100 entities to work for #1 Honor roll...

I'll be there in no time... not.

That sounds like a double negative. Therefore, you'll be there in time. Now, the question is, in time for what? ;)

My memory says about 145-150 worked.

I should keep track with an actual log, but that would indicate that I care. :p ;) :D
