    Yes, but the skywalk is 4000 ft above the Colorado River, or the base of the canyon. It is not much higher than the average terrain. Still scary when you look down!

    Good idea except you can't carry anything out there, not even a camera or phone, and you have to wear 'crime scene' booties. Better to do that somewhere else on the rim.

    Pike’s Peak is in my backyard, 14,110 feet. And you can drive to the top. :D

    Or Mount Evans, also with a paved road to the top, at 14,271. :)

    I think the highest observation deck in North America (U.S.) is probably on Pikes Peak CO +14,000 new visitor deck or Mt Evans
